Al and Tess Reale (aka Dad and Mom, Grandpa and Grandma, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma) will be married 60 years on Oct 1. This momentous occasion was celebrated last weekend.
The day started when they were picked up in a van with all 12 of their children seated within to mimic the Econoline van they owned in the 70's. Next, a brief tour down memory lane in Hanover, passing 1041 Main St and ending at St Mary's church where Fr Connor celebrated a mass and renewal of vows.
Then it was off to apple picking in Bridgewater. In-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren joined in the fun and LOTS of apples were picked off the ground, off low branches, off high branches, sitting on shoulders, etc. After that it was off to China Plaza in Rockland to recreate family dinners out. After reconfiguring the table set up and drinking some scorpion balls we reminisced about family dinners and realized we had never been out together as a family of 12.
The day ended at a party in Braintree hosted by the Hrebenak's with lots of the extended Reale family in attendance.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
