Joe and Karen were supposed to host a beach party in Humarock on the 2nd but because the NE weather wouldn't cooperate it was due to be cancelled. The matriarch wouldn't here of it and proposed we seek an alternate venue... the lousy weather wasn't going to rain on our parade (or party). Joe found a last minute replacement for the celebration and everyone met at the Mad Fish Restaurant on Humarock Beach for some pizza, cake, and fun. It was actually an impromptu party celebrating Dave's 40th Birthday. McGruber and the crew were able to hoist a pinata up to the rafters and each child took a turn trying to break it open. It took some muscle so David got the last swing and the goodies poured out. We were treated to a small fireworks display and even shook a little bootie, complete with a conga line. It was a great time - Thank you Joe and Karen!!
