Mom and Dad traveled to Charlotte to see the Wildcats playoff game vs. the Pirates last weekend. Joey entered the game with a cast on his left arm and the flu bug jumping around inside his body (101 temp at game time). He was adamant that he play feeling as though he'd be letting his team down if he didn't. The Pirates took an early lead and the Wildcats were forced to throw early and often into and with the 20 mph winds that day. Joey was intercepted an uncharacteristic THREE times and the Wildcats went down 22-0 being handed their 2nd loss and first shut out of the season.
Joey is considering retiring from the game this year but says he'd still like to win a championship. He will think things over during the offseason and make a decision in the spring.
