It is with a very heavy heart that we tell you Lucy was put to sleep today. The past few weeks have been very hard for her, and for all of us. After a few visits to the vet, it was decided that her quality of life had deteriorated so much that the humane thing to do was let her go.
Lucy, as you all know was the best dog a family could have. She was always so good-natured and gentle, even in the midst of the craziest family gatherings. We thank Cathy for giving her to us, and we feel lucky to have had her for 15 years. She could not have been more loved. She had a good life. We will miss her dearly.
