Yes it's true, this year the Thanksgiving crowd was half of what it was last year - 16! Lots of family members went to their in-laws (as close as Hanover and as far away as China) and then others just took a relaxing vacation in the Bahamas. There were no children under the age of 10, no crying babies, so dinner was fairly subdued. The table was a manageable size which meant nobody had to be trapped in a corner with the only escape route being under the table. Peg was able to spring Dan out of Braintree Rehab for the day. Dinner was delicious and many thanks to the Hrebenak's who were terrific hosts, as always.
On the flip side I think that means EVERYONE will be at the Nelson-Doherty house for Christmas!! See you there, warm up your vocal chords...."On the first Day of Christmas my true love gave to me...."
