I moved to a new apartment in DC yesterday, with a record (outdoor) high temp of 100. The movers really appreciated the pools at both places, and I appreciated the fully-functioning AC.

The building is called the Yale Steam Laundry Condominiums- a renovation of an historic laundry where apparently the White House linens were once washed. (Insert DC 'dirty laundry' joke here.) It's a one-bedroom, but there'll be a sleep sofa soon, and Mom will be happy to know there are pool tables right next to the gym (is playing pool considered exercise?). Would love to have visitors- Peg and Jim arrive tomorrow- come on down!
