Tournament Update

It was an away match against Falmouth which required early dismissal just to get there on time with Friday Cape traffic...
The weather cooperated, a beautiful 70 degree day. After 2 hours, 2 singles players had won and 1 lost. The score was 2-1. Then a doubles team lost and it was 2-2. The deciding match was up to Jen and her doubles partner..........they WON!! 6-4, 7-5. The team won 3-2. Lots of cheers and hugs for the two young sophomores.
On to round two tomorrow (Sunday). They will play the winner of today's match, North Quincy vs. Durfee. North Quincy is favored and will be VERY tough for us to beat but I think it's Braintree's turn. They haven't gone this far in 30 years!
