Reale Riders, Year 2 - June 25th at UMass Boston was rainy, cold, and miserable, but that didn't hinder the Reale Riders, they hopped on their bikes and hit the road at 7:45am. The riding team members were Mary, Jim, Mark, and Mike Storey. The volunteer team members were Angela, Adam, Peg, Jim D, Lynn, Ken, and Pete. By lunchtime when the riders stopped at the Halifax rest stop, manned by the Reale Rider volunteers, the rain had stopped and the warmth was creeping in slowly. They all finished with better times than last year and by the time they arrived in Bourne the sun was out. Eleanor met us at the finish line where we enjoyed some well deserved beer and a bbq. Thank you to everyone who rode, volunteered, and donated. It is much appreciated. Start training, next year (June 23/24) I'm hoping we'll double the number of riders!! I love you all, thank you.
